By the way, stuff is just stuff

By the way, stuff is just stuff.  No matter how much I work on colour fastness, longevity, perfecting garments and techniques .... stuff is just stuff.  It all fades, it all degrades, it all needs to say goodbye on this earth.  Don't hang your heart on keeping this forever, or that it's going to be preserved by someone who is actually even going to take care of it!  You never know what the next generation will do, or whose hands it eventually lands into.  It doesn't matter.  It's still worth creating, and creating beauty, because man was created to create beauty.  That is worth it.  But don't get hung up on this earth or on your material possessions, which is currently always fading no matter how hard people try to preserve their lives.   At some point, and you are never told when, death (for most people, not all) will come knocking on their doors and giving a sentence you can't avoid (sure you can avoid a few of them).  So think more carefully about the matters of your heart - your intentions - and be honest.  Be honest with why you even care about beautiful things, or care about creating.  Things don't matter in the long run; they don't.  The one thing that does matter is our responsibility to our Creator, who does create beautiful things that are way beyond what we think we're so good at on earth.  Remember: stuff is just stuff.  It will fade and disappear.
