 See previous post for notes about the issues with this pattern.  Added the appliqué to fix neck issues after I squeezed out the excess on centre front (after it was a finished, completed garment) and you could still see the new fold.  It looked crap.  So, added the appliqué to cover up the fold/excess squeeze out.
