Behind the seams | speed seed beading

As yet this the fastest technique I have found. 

Tried the ac beading glove technique. Did not work for me because look at where the back of your palm is. Covered with fabric, especially for large panels where you need to bunch up and hold a lot of it regularly. (A) that means you need to move your hand out of the way every time you need to pick up beads. This means more picking up and dropping the fabric. This means waste of time. (B) when your the back of your palm needs to make contact with fabric, you will lose beads. 

Just making a bead band for the thumb means it's super close to the needle + not covered half the time dodging fabric.   Yes, will need to reload it more regularly because it fits fewer beads than a beading glove but the momentum at which you can pick up beads is almost seamless, for lack of better terminology. 

Band is made of a few cm of elastic where it is easily customised by the user to obviously not choke own thumb and also not slip off easily.  Very easy.
