Ruffle cowl/headband/crossover from jersey scraps

Approximate size and shape used.
Like a diamond but extended horizontally in the middle.
Simply what these particular scissors would cut in one pinch.
Exact shape not essential.

Bias raw edges on jersey doesn’t roll up like a scroll unlike the vertical and horizontals.  Bunch the singular piece while sewing onto jersey rope via sewing machine.  After a few tries you’ll get the hang of your machine and how close you want to bunch the pieces. I like them without any gaps in between.  This item does provide warmth where worn due to amount of fabric fluffing around.  Probably made this from around sixteen leftover men’s tee shirt sleeves (typical short length) and got around four or five pieces per sleeve.

Modelled on myself also wearing Eva's Sunday top, bought many years ago during their earlier days when their sale prices made their linen made in China clothing very reasonable.  Have a good handful of linen clothing from them, as they select colours and fabric weight well.  These days their shop is way beyond my price point.

This was such a fast project, that required so little thinking.  This is easy, easy, easy.  So fast and easy.

Original scarf and length. RRP $200+
Much simpler neckpieces are already $120-$150.
